Le point d&rsquo;eau cr\u00e9e a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 l&#8217;emploi de dynamite. Il a une profondeur de 75 m. Principalement constitu\u00e9e de Dogons qui cohabitent, comme partout dans le Cercle de Koro, avec des Peuhls, une minorit\u00e9 de Mossi, et les fonctionnaires bambaras, la population de la commune rurale \u00e9tait au dernier recensement en 2009 de 15 751 habitants dont 51% de femmes et 44% d\u2019enfants entre 6 et 14 ans.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Puits moderne \u00e0 grand diam\u00e8tre 2008-2009&nbsp;
